Meta has finally introduced its AI chatbot to European users, offering text-only features on WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger. The limited launch follows a year of discussions with regulators over data privacy concerns. While missing advanced functionalities, Meta plans to expand as it aligns with EU requirements.

On March 12, 2025, over 120 European tech founders announced Project Europe, a €10M fund supporting young entrepreneurs. Led by 20VC’s Harry Stebbings, the initiative offers €200K per startup, mentorship, and resources to drive AI and deep tech innovation while addressing Europe’s talent migration challenge.
