Transformer networks, including GPT4 and ChatGPT, have revolutionized the use of large-language models by training on vast internet-sourced datasets. These models, enhanced through reinforcement learning, have demonstrated AI's expanding capabilities across general and specific domains.

Despite sensational claims about AI's potential dangers, experts like Professor Michael Wooldridge have testified to its limitations, particularly regarding achieving consciousness. The focus remains on enhancing AI's reliability, accuracy, and utility across various applications.

The Future of AI

Looking ahead, AI is set to integrate more deeply with societal needs, employing both machine learning and symbolic AI. This blend will ensure that AI applications are both innovative and grounded in human knowledge, making them more effective and applicable in real-world scenarios.
